My husband is gone again and I'm completely sad about it of course, but I couldn't have thought of a better way to help time go by faster than to go down to California and be with my McAlpin family. This past weekend I was able to go down to San Diego for Melodie's baptism. It was an amazing family occasion and I would have been heartbroken if I had missed it. Melodie is one of the greatest girls I know and I'm so blessed to have her apart of our lives. Matt is one lucky guy:-)
AND. . . . It just so happened that my adorable little nephew's birthday was this past weekend as well. We love Ethan so much!!! Happy 1st Birthday buddy! 
Ethan looks just like his daddy but he's got a whole lot of his momma's spunk in him. We celebrated his birthday Friday night and then we had a big party at Del Mar beach with friends and family Saturday afternoon.
Tucker took his first little swim in the ocean too. He loved it- he loves the water! He would stay in the tub all day and night if I would let him. He's definitely a water baby:-)

I had so much fun with my family, I just wish JC could have been there. Everyone wished JC was there this past weekend. We love you and miss you so much Love!
Tucker had enough of the camera by the end of the trip- he started to come after me. I love this picture! He gets this scary face from his daddy:-)

We missed you guys back here....but I guess we have to share. We do get you all the time, and we love it! T-man looks bigger and bigger to me all the time!
Great reason to take a trip! Love the ocean pictures. It's almost sad to see how fast Tucker is growing up!
Gerard is beautiful! But not nearly as beautiful as your little guy! I can't believe how fast he is growing! You and your family look wonderful! I hope JC comes home soon and it was lovely hearing from you! Next time in Utah I will definetly call!!!
