Catching Up. . .

I've been really busy these days closing on our new home, but it's done! We did it! I like to say "we" even though I suffered through not only signing my name on all of the papers, but printing out JC's full name along with "by Beth Davis as his attorney in fact" on each of the lines of all of the papers. It took FOREVER, but I was happy to do so. Our agent at the Title company felt really bad for me, so he said he would go back and date all of the papers later. Nice Guy. Anyway- We have our home, and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!
So yeah- I say "we" because even though I picked the house out and signed all of the papers, JC is the one working his tail off so we could actually buy a home. He's amazing! He trusted me 100% to do this for our family- I know he's going to love it.
I'll post pictures of the inside soon.

Also, as I mentioned before, my birthday was this past week-Happy Birthday to me- and my wonderful mother in law made one of my favorite dinners today. It's slices of turkey with Prosciutto on top with Orzo rice. It is soooo yummy! We celebrated my birthday along with Aly's birthday (Wyatt's girlfriend). (Wyatt is JC's brother who is on a mission). Anyway- Cyd invited JC's cousins- Paul and Mark and Jessica- over for dinner. Also, to my surprise, his cousin Matt was in town with his son, Charlie!!! I was so happy to see those two. I can't believe how big Charlie is now. He is so sweet and such a cute little guy.
This is me and Aly- I can't believe I'm almost 10 years older than her. Sad!

Tucker and his cousin- Charlie!

Charlie, Matt and Tucker!

So it was a fun day. Oh, and I can't forget that my adorable little niece, Loren was blessed today. I'm sad JC wasn't here to participate, but he'll be here soon.
This is Loren- upside down.
Tucker got dressed up for Loren's blessing today. I love his tie!!!

I love that last picture of Tucker. Congrats on your house!

So I just tried to view Sallie's page (I had given her my email address) and it said permission denied. Kind of wierd. I don't know her--she knew Ben from Jerusalem--but she has commented on my blog quite a few times. If she comments again, I'll see what's going on. Sorry I can't help you more.

Love the tie! Also love the fact that it looks like he's giving a "peace sign."
It looks like you had a great birthday. Food always tastes better when someone else cooks...and you usually get out of doing the dishes!
Congrats on buying a house! What an ordeal. Will you be moved in by the time JC gets home? I still don't know where you guys live though.
Only 24 days to go! I get so excited for you when I see the countdown getting smaller and smaller.

So I just got an email last night inviting me to view Sallie's blog. I commented on her post this morning and asked her to contact you. Crazy timing huh?

We'll be in Utah this weekend for a wedding and conference. It would be fun to see you sometime. We don't have any plans yet. I'll let you know when we start figuring out what's going on.

BETH! I privatized my blog, no reason specifically just after rading a few articles in the paper about it. (blogging moms) So I just decided to do it. Email me your address sallieelizabeth@hotmail.com and I will send you the invite. I am counting the days down for you, the house, the baby, you, JC is going to be one happy man!
