Two Happy Birthdays!

Yesterday my baby boy turned 3 months! So being the dork that I am, I decided to bake him a cake and celebrate. We also celebrated our 3 month countdown for the time JC comes home! (It's almost 3 months away). Tucker had no clue what was going on, but it was a fun reason to bake a cake and have fun with family.
I also have to wish my Daddy a big Happy 64th Birthday today! If anyone knows me, they know I'm the biggest Daddy's girl in the entire world. I've always thought he was perfect and I still do. He is the most amazing example of someone who is kind, loving, humble, charitable, courageous, stubborn, fun, adventurous, spontaneous, selfless and very hard working. He is one of the only few southern gentlemen left out there in the world. He never worries about what other people think of him and he has always stood up for what is right. My Dad has always put the needs of others before his own- especially those of his family. Thanks for being the best Dad in the world. We love you so much!
This is me with my dad when I was a little girl! Crazy how time goes by so fast! PS- He and I love the song- "Butterfly Kisses."

I can't believe Tucker is 3 months now! Wow! He's so adorable! And I love what you said about your dad... that's exactly how I remember him. The sweetest, kindest man. I also remember how he would drive that hour and a half--or was it two hours?-- between Rome and Signal Mountain just so we could hang out together! Awesome dad.

So cute Beth. The little party looked like fun, and it's fun to have an excuse to make a cake every so often! Time flies, doesn't it! I've never met you dad, but it sounds like he is an awesome man!

Sorry about you meltdown the other night. It is always comforting to hear that we are not alone. I think the patience is cut down even more when it gets to the a.m. hours!

Hey Beth! It was great to hear from you. I read some of your blog history and almost started crying when I read the entry of Tuckers' birth. I must say, you are very brave and selfless. Thank you for you willingness to be such a good wife and support your husband.

You baby is beautiful! They do grow up so fast. You should celebrate the changes, so good for you!

Beth! How cute! Bob and I just started our blog, and I am still trying to figure it all out... but it has quickly become very addicting. I like wandering from friend to friend and seeing what everyone is up to. I was so excited when I came across yours, I ran and told Bob- we think lil Tucker is SO ADORABLE! Funny that we just moved into your old stomping grounds a few months ago- it would have been so fun to see you.
All our love!
