This past Friday, we drove up to Santa Monica and hung out with JC's cousin Mark and his wife Jessica. Mark has been working here in CA for the NFL this summer - so luckily we were able to spend some time with them before they go back to Utah. We love them so much and love hanging out with them!Unfortunately, my desire to look cute for my husband since my stomach started growing didn't turn out so great because the shoes I wore started giving me blisters as we were walking. BUT- luckily we were on 3rd Street Promenade going to dinner anyway, so I bought a new pair of flat shoes. I can't even tell you how disappointed I was when I realized these new shoes that appeared to be comfortable ended up giving me blisters too! Just my luck. I should have known I should have stuck with my "Rainbows"- (flip flops)- they are soooo comfortable. NEXT TIME!

Beth it looks like you had a great time. You look darling pregnant! Cali definitely seems like a fun place to live, with lots of fun things to do.
